From the Mother of the Groom
Eileen and Don,
As Lea said about herself several times during this weekend, it's a rare thing for me to not be able to find words to describe my thoughts and feelings. But I am truly without enough words to express thanks for our simply superb weekend at Jasmine Plantation. Your warm help throughout the past year to Lea and Rob, your gracious reception of all of our family and friends, your presence to help with anything we needed were above and beyond anything I could have asked for. That the kids could stay there for the weekend, that we had the run of the inn, that we could find cozy space to catch up or catch our breath gave us all the feel of being "home" for this most wonderful time. I cannot tell you how many people said what a wonderful place and experience Jasmine was.
Lea and Rob knew on their first visit that Jasmine was the place they wanted to be married. It was the place they felt they could create the warmth, fun and love they wanted everyone to experience this past weekend.
It was overwhelming to have so many people who have been important in our lives, from as far away as New Zealand, England, Texas, Nevada and Oregon, from as close as Norfolk, to gather in your beautiful spot. It was truly the village that has helped raise Lea and Rob to be the wonderful people they are. And now we feel like you are part of that village.
